Amy Krempecki, O.D. – Optometrist
Dr. Amy Krempecki grew up in Elmira, NY, a small town in upstate New York. She attended Ithaca College, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After graduation, she went on to complete a residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy in Wichita, Kansas. In addition to her passion for pediatrics, Dr. Krempecki is trained in managing conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She takes pride in staying up-to-date with the latest advances in eye care.
Since moving to Western North Carolina in 2017 with her husband John and their son Sebastian, Dr. Krempecki has fallen in love with the area’s natural beauty and warm community spirit. When she’s not helping patients see clearly, you might find her exploring new places or immersing herself in a good book. Dr. Krempecki’s favorite aspect of patient care is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients. She takes time to get to know each person who walks through the door, listening to their concerns and developing personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
